One of Indonesia's most complex specialty Arabicas. Remote highland origin, dark fruit and spice character, syrupy body. Grade 1, SCA 82–86.
Toraja Arabica comes from the remote Tana Toraja highlands of Sulawesi Selatan — one of Indonesia's most geographically isolated and culturally distinct coffee regions. Grown at 1,400–1,800m altitude in volcanic mountain terrain, Toraja produces a complex, dark-fruited Arabica unlike anything from Sumatra.
The remote growing conditions — no paved roads to most farms, traditional smallholder cultivation, minimal chemical inputs — contribute to a terroir-driven cup profile characterized by blackcurrant, dark fruit, and spice notes over a full, syrupy body. Toraja is increasingly recognized by European and Japanese specialty buyers as a premium Indonesia single-origin.
Available in Wet-Hulled (Giling Basah) for the classic Sulawesi earthy-fruit profile, and Natural process for a more fermented, berry-forward cup.
